Unit7 At Christmas (period 1)

一、教学目标:

1)四会掌握单词watch、teapot、hairdryer、mirror、comb、wallet;

2)四会掌握句型Whose … is it / are they?及其正确回答;

3)理解名词性物主代词的用法并能熟练地进行运用和操练;

4)能用英语表述物体的所属,并能日常生活中运用所学的知识。

二、教学重、难点:

Step1 Free talk

T:When’s National Day ?

What do people ususlly do on National Day ?

What  holiday  comes  after  National  Day ? (Christmas )

Ss: (answer some questions )

Step 2  Prestentation and teaching

1.T:What date is it today?      

S:…

T:What holiday is coming?      

S:Chirstmas is coming.

T:Yes,Christmas is coming.Merry christmas.today we’ll learn unit7

T:Let’s have a party,OK ?First ,sing a song (We wish…).

2.T: Who knows more about Christmas?

  S: Father Christmas and Christmas trees.

  T: Father Christmas isn’t real in the world, so who gives the presents

to the children?

  S: Their father or grandfather.

  T: Yes, When the children are asleep, they put the pictures into the stockings. At Christmas, we can see many beautiful Christmas trees, look,

what are there under the tree?

  S: Many Christmas presents.

1) Teach:  watch  mine yours

T:I’ve got a present last Christmas, can you guess what it is?

S: it’s  a  …

T: Can you ask me the question?

S: Whose watch is it?

T: It’s my watch. It’s mine.( learn: mine)

(Teach: Whose ____ is  it ?  It’s  my _______.  It’s  mine .

my watch =  mine)

T : Whose has a watch?

( ask and answer with the student who has a watch)

( ask a student, then turn around , ask and answer one by one)

T: ( take out my watch)

   Whose watch is it?

S: It’s your watch.

T: Here “your watch” equals “ yours”.( learn: yours)

(Teach: Whose ____ is  it ?  It’s  your _______.  It’s  yours .

your watch = yours)

2) . Teach: his  wallet

T: Look,what’s this in English? ( listen and read “wallet”)

T: Have you got any questions about this wallet?

S: Whose wallet is it?

T: It’s a picture in it, who is he?

S: He’s Liu Xiang.

T: Maybe it’s Liu Xiang’s wallet. ( Show the picture of Ben)

   Oh, no, it’s not his wallet. It’s Ben’s wallet.

S: It’s Ben’s wallet, it’s his wallet.

T: It’s his. ( learn: his)

(Teach: Whose ____ is  it ?  It’s  his _______.  It’s  his .

3).Teach:comb   hers

T:This present is Helen’s,it’s hers.Whose present is it ?

S:It’s Helen’s,it’s hers.

Teach:hers

T:Listen,what is it?

S:Comb.

Teach:comb

T:Whose comb is it ?

S:It’s her comb.It’s hers.

Practice : T---S    pair  work

4.T: Read a passage about Christmas. Show them the Christmas tree with a lot of presents, ask them which they would like to choose.

Teach : our =ours ,their=theirs

T:Look at the third one. listen  

S:hairdryer

Teach :hairdryer      

T:Guess, whose hairdryer is it?

S:It’s Miss wu’s.it’s yours.

T:Oh,it’s my hairdryer.it’s mine.

Teach:  mirror ours theirs

T: The last present,listen and look.         

Ss:mirror .

Teach:  mirror

T: Whose mirror is it ? guess!

T:listen and look. It’s our mirror. It’s ours.

Teach :  our  ours

7.Play another game: Found the lost.(part C)

1.名词性物主代词后不能跟名词,例如:It’s mine.

2.形容词性物主代词后一定要跟名词,例如:It’s my pen.

Step 4 Homewok

1.Copy the new words five times

2.Copy the possessive pronoun twice.
