      What am T doing?
       (I’m teaching you about English.But today I want to be your Art teacher and I want to teach you about shapes. Do you want to learn from me?)
      OK,let me show you a picture first.

      Look at this picture. Is it funny? It’s made of different shapes. Look, they are all shapes.(read the word together)
2.Teach: a circle
  T: What shape is it?
It’s a circle.
(read one by one)
Teach:a star
T: Is it a circle?
S: No, it isn’t.
T: It’s a star.(lead them to read)
T: Can you find stars in our classroom?
  (stars on the flag)
3. Teach: a triangle
T: What shape is it?
  It has three angles. We call it triangle.
(read one by one)
  I like triangles. I can use triangles to make new shapes.(make a square and a rectangle and teach the two shapes)
4.We have learnt five shapes. Can you draw them? Let’s draw together.
  Who can come to the blackboard and show uo how to draw?(teach the sentence: Show us how to…)
5.T: There many shapes on the blackboard. How many…can you see on the blackboard?
  There are also many shapes in our daily life. Can you ask the shape of them?(teach the sentence: What shape is the…? It’s a …)
  Pair work (talk about the shapes )
6. Look at the picture.
  Who are they? What are they talking about?
  Lead in the passage.
  Listen to the tape and do some exercise.
  Students read by themselves and try to find the answers to the questions.
