Step 1 Revision

A: warm up


Sing a song: season’s song


Watch a cartoon:
[url=]动物名称[/url]

B: greetings

Good morning / afternoon. How are you? Nice to meet you!

C: Free talk:

1) T: What’s this/that? What are these/those? (Fruits, stationeries, furniture in the classroom)

T: Do you like …? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.

2) Review the words of animals the Ss have learnt before. (Show them the pictures of animals.)

T: What is it? What are these/those?

T: Do you like …?

3) pass the letters to practice the spelling: tiger(s) , panda(s) , bear(s) , lion(s)

Step 2 Presentation

1. Guessing game: look at the first letter and say the animal

2. show all the animals

T: what animal begin with “m”?

Ss: monkey

T: a monkey?

Ss: monkeys

T: You are clever!

Show other pictures: tiger(s) , panda(s) , bear(s) , lion(s), cats, dogs, elephants, chicken, birds…

3. present: I like…s.

T: boys and girls, there are so many animals, where are we?

Ss: in the zoo!

T: you are so clever. Do you like animals? What animal do you like? What do you like? Eg: I like monkeys. How about you?

Bb: I like[url=] …s[/url].

T: Do you know the meaning of it ?

Ss guess the meaning.

Let Ss practice the sentence

4. T: look, this is my friend 喜洋洋, what does he like? Do you want to know, let’s ask him, ok? But how?

Bb: What do you like?

Ss say after T

Step 3 practice

1. Let Ss ask喜洋洋 together

2. Choose individual student act as a little teacher to ask the Ss What do you like .

3. Do pair work to do ask and answer work.

4. Listen to the tape and read the dialogue .

5. Super speaker: Imitate the pronunciation and intonation from the tape , who can do it best

6. Do a [url=]survey[/url] P13 in groups of four

Homework:

1.Listen to the tape and read the dialogue after tape .

2. Make up dialogues with desk mate .
