Step 1: Greetings
T: Good morning / afternoon, boys and girls.

Step 2: Free talk
T: Hi, ×××. Glad to see you.
S1: Hi, Miss Ren. Glad to see you.
T: Can you dance?
S1: Yes, I can.
T: Can you dance?
S2: No, I can’t.
T: What can you do?
S2:I can sing.
T: Do you like running?
S3: Yes, I do.

Step 3: Presentation
1. 导入 Ask and answer.
T: Hi ,××× . Do you like playing basketball?
(T边问边做动作,以便学生理解。)
S1: Yes , I do.
2.Learn the news words.
(1)T: Do you know what shape is the basketball?
(T讲解 “shape ” it means “形状”)
T领读句型 what shape is it? It’s a ……
T: It’s a …… (circle) T适时引导
Read one by one.
T show a card (实物、模型)
T: What shape is it?
S1: It’s a circle.
(2) T show another card.
T: Is it a circle?
S1: No.
T: What shape is it?
Ss: It’s a ……
引出 square.
S1: What shape is it? S之间利用发的剪好形状的纸进行对话练习
S2: It’s a square.
(3) T show a rubber, 利用句型what shape is it? 引出 diamond.
(4) Practice
Listen and show

Ss: 将手中圆形的纸片举起来.
Ask and answer

S1: It’s a circle.
T: What shape is the copybook?
S2: It’s a square
也可以采用小组对话的形式

(2) T 让S起来示范,正确后板书。

每两人一组,利用手边的剪成形状的纸或者自己身边有的实物对话练习:

(4) Let’s play a game.
T 让一个S说一个自己的幸运数字, 然后全班同学齐问: What shape is it? 该生回答: It’s a …… 如果猜对教师发给该生奖品。
