Teaching Steps:
Step One: 1. Greeting.
T: Boys and girls, today I’ll give you a surprise. Look, what’s this?
S: 阿拉丁神灯。
T: Yes, look! It’s an Aladdin Lamp. (PPT 出示图片)
  Do you know the story about “Aladdin Lamp”?
S: Yes.
T: Today he’ll give you three awards, if this lesson you can do a good job! Would you like to get the awards?
S: Yes!
T: Good! Now let’s begin our class.
         2. Free talk.

Step Two: Presentation.
1. T: You all did a very good job! Let’s look, what Aladdin will give you!
(PPT出示)
Aladdin: You’re so clever! Let’s say a rhyme!
  Say the rhyme: Today is my birthday!
2. T: Good! We know today is “Little May’s birthday”. Is today your birthday?
  S: No.
  T: When’s your birthday?

Step Three: Practice.
1. T: Today you’re so good! Aladdin will give you another award. Let’s look!
Aladdin: Wonderful! Now let’s watch a cartoon!
(PPT show them the cartoon of Part A)
2. T: Yes. Now, let’s watch it again! But this time, you should answer me three questions: (PPT show them the questions)
a. When’s Ben’s birthday?
b. When’s Jim’s birthday?
c. What would Ben like as a birthday present?
3. T: But now, I have another question: We know Ben is talking to Jim, but who is Jim? Can you tell me? (PPT show them the questions)
  T: Open your books, try to read paragraph One, and finish them.

Step Four: Consolidation.
  T: Today you’re very good! And now, if you can finish my task, I’ll give you another award:

1. Read the whole text by yourself.
2. Read it again, try to fill in the blanks:
  Today is the 16th of October. Ben’s birthday is coming soon. It’s on the 18th of October. He usually has a birthday party. He would like a yo-yo and a VCD of Japanese cartoons as his birthday present. He would like to watch Aladdin at his birthday party.
3. My award: Watch “Aladdin Lamp”
Step Five: Summarize the whole lesson.
         Homework: Do a Survey. Try to know your friend’s birthday and what he / she would like as a birthday present.








课后反思:
本节课的重点内容是有关生日的交际用语,所涉及最多的就是日期的表达方法。我把这一课时作为第二课时来讲,就是为了让学生能够在充分了解日期的表达的基础上接触本节课,从而降低学习的难度。
在整节课的设计上,我采取了由童话故事“阿拉丁神灯”这个主线贯穿整节课,引导学生在每完成一个任务时都能得到相应的鼓励,更有效的激发学生的学习热情。在处理本节课的重点句子及知识点的时候,我采取的方式是对话,由我跟学生的对话导入到重点知识的学习,目的是为了让一切显得顺其自然。在课文的导入方面,我由“阿拉丁神灯”的一个奖励,导入到课文动画片的欣赏,让学生一边放松,一边接触新的内容。在课文的学习过程中,我主要还是采取了看动画回答问题、打开书本填空这些形式。
但整节课下来,我自己的一个感觉就是好像缺了点什么,缺了什么又说不上来。但我认识到以下几个问题:
1.导入。在导入方面花的时间太过长了些。有些话其实可以完全省了,也能达到预想的效果。
2.在rhyme的学习过程中,注入太多时间。给学生讲解了这个rhyme最后押的是什么韵,但我觉得这个后来加入的东西,刚好为最后学习wait这个词做了很好的铺垫,让学生更清楚的认识到了wait的发音。
3.内容相对重复。在讲授My birthday’s coming soon. 以及Would you like to come to my birthday party?时,我反复在问学生When is your birthday? 而这些句子在Free talk这个环节也已经反复操练。
4.课文的学习上是最大的遗憾。由于前面花费的时间太多了,导致后面课文的学习,显得很长促,学生不能很好的接触到课文的学习,就已经到了最后的fill in the blanks 的总结部分。
5.最后的拓展部分也没能想出更好的办法。
语篇教学是个难题,但也是个值得挑战的部分。只要肯下功夫,肯定会有更好的办法来让学生学得更好,学得更轻松的!

导入很新颖,却有可能花费很多时间,会影响后面的课文教学,但是如果学生的积极性没被调动,效果又不理想,这个度不易把握啊
