   Miss Li draws a picture on the blackboard. There is a boy flying a square kite. He has a nice bag. It’s a rectangle. And then Miss Li draws a five-circle kite. Liu Tao comes to the blackboard and draws a sun. The students show their shapes to each other.



Unit 1
Maria
It is a nice day. The students are very happy, because they are back at school. The school is new. They are happy to meet some new classmates.
There is a new building at school. The building is tall and nice. It has four floors and thirty-two rooms. There are twenty-four classrooms. The classrooms are big and bright. On the first floor, there is a clinic and a reading room. The table tennis room and the music room are on the second floor. There are two computer rooms on the third floor. On the fourth floor, there is a reading room and an art room. In the school, there is a big playground. The students are very happy to study in this nice school.
The students love their school very much.

Laura
It is the first day of the new term. At school, there is a new and high building. It has four floors. There are twenty-four classrooms in the building. They are big and bright.
On the first floor, there is a doctor’s office. If students are ill, they can see the doctor here. One reading room is on the first floor, and the other is on the fourth floor. There is a table tennis room and a music room on the second floor. After class, the students often play table tennis in it. The students can have music lessons in the music room. On the third floor, there are two computer rooms. The students learn how to use computers in them. On the fourth floor, the students are draw some lovely pictures in the art room.
The students happily study in the building.

Lucy
It is the first day of the new term. All the students are back at school. They are happy to see each other.
There is a new building in the school. It’s very nice. In the building, there are four floors. There is a doctor’s office and a reading room on the first floor. On the second floor, there is a table tennis room and a music room. What rooms are on the third floor? Oh, there are two computer rooms. On the fourth floor, there’s an art room. Near the art room, there is a reading room. There are twenty-four classrooms in the building.
The students are happy to study in the school.

Aileen
It is the first day of the new term. Wang Bing Mike and Helen see the new building. There are twenty-four classrooms in the building. On the first floor, there is a doctor’s office and a reading room. The students like reading magazines in the reading room. On the second floor, there is a table tennis room and a music room. There are two computer rooms on the third floor. There are a lot of new computers in the computer room. On the fourth floor, there’s an art room and a reading room. In the art room, there are many nice pictures.
The students like the building very much.

Peter & Molly
It is the first day of the new term. All the students are back at school. They are happy to see each other again. There is a new building in their school.
There are four floors in the building. And there are twenty-four classrooms in it. The classrooms are bright. The desks and chairs are very clean. There is a doctor’s office and a reading room on the first floor. There is a table tennis room and a music room on the second floor. On the third floor, there are two computer rooms. There is an art room and a reading room on the fourth floor.
The building is very big and pretty. The students play and study in it very happily.

Unit 2
Peter
Yang Ling and her parents live in a new house now. It is near her school.
The house is big. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a study, a kitchen, a dining-room and a large sitting-room. But there isn’t a garden. On the fist floor, there’s a kitchen, a study, a dining-room and a big sitting-room. The other rooms are on the second floor.
Yang Ling’s bedroom is between her parents’ room and the bathroom. There is a desk, a nice bed, a window and a map of the world. There are some lovely dolls. There’s a lamp, a book and a telephone on the desk. Near the desk, there’s a chair.
Their house is very pretty, so they like it very much.

Yang Ling and her parents live in a new house. It’s near her school. They like the new house very much.
The new house is big. It has two floors. There are three bedrooms, a study, a kitchen, a dining-room and a large sitting-room. There isn’t a garden. The study, the sitting-room and the kitchen are on the first floor. The bathroom, Yang Ling’s bedroom and Yang Ling’s parents’ bedroom are on the second floor. The sitting-room is between the kitchen and the study. The bathroom is clean. It’s next to Yang Ling’s bedroom. And here parents’ bedroom is near her bedroom.
In Yang Ling’s bedroom, there’s a desk near the bed. On the bed, there are some lovely dolls. There aren’t any pictures on the wall. But there’s a map of the world on the wall. On the desk, there’s a lamp and a telephone.
What a nice house!

Cherry
Yang Ling and her parents live in a new house now. It is near her school.
There are three floors in the house. On the first floor, there is a study, a kitchen, a dining-room and a large sitting-room. On the second floor, there are two bathrooms and three bedrooms. The third floor is an attic. They can store many things in it. This house is nice, but there isn’t a garden.
In Yang Ling’s bedroom, we can see a desk near the bed. On the bed, there are a lot of dolls. These dolls are very lovely. Yang Ling likes them. There is a map of the world on the wall. On the desk, there is a telephone and a lamp.
They like the new house very much.

In the study, there is a bookcase, a desk, a chair and a computer. On the second floor, there is Yang Ling’s bedroom. In Yang Ling’s bedroom, there’s a desk near her bed. On the desk, there’s a lamp, a book and a telephone. Yang Ling likes dolls. Look! On her bed, there are many dolls. There is a map of the world on the wall.
The new house is nice.

There are two sofas in the sitting-room. On the sofa, there are two pink pillows. Near the sitting-room, there’s a study. There are a lot of books in it. And there is a kitchen on the first floor. Yang Ling’s mother often cooks in the kitchen. There is a table and four chairs in the kitchen. Yang Ling and her parents’ bedroom are on the second floor. There is a bathroom in Yang Ling’s parents’ room.
In Yang Ling’s bedroom, there is a desk near her bed. On the bed, there are some dolls. There is a map of the world on the wall. On the desk, there is a telephone.
The Yang family like their new house very much.

Yang Ling and her parents live in a big and new house now. It is near her school. They like the house very much.
There are three floors in it. On the third floor, there is a small store room. Yang Ling’s bedroom is between her parents’ bedroom and the bathroom. They are all on the second floor. There is a large sitting-room between the kitchen and the study.
Yang Ling’s bedroom is very beautiful. There is a desk near her bed. On the bed, there are some nice dolls. There is a map of the world on the wall. On the desk, there is a red telephone, a green lamp and a green copybook.
They all like their new house.
