第一课时
教学内容:Learn Part A
教学目标:(知识和能力、过程和方法、情感态度和价值观)
1、掌握下列单词、词组:
visit (拜访)   date (日期)   soon (不久)   birthday party (生日聚会)
a VCD of Japanese cartoons (一部日本动画片)    wait (等待)
2、掌握句子:What date is it?
Would you like a VCD of Japanese cartoons?
When can we watch it? Let’s wait and see.
3、学会如何举办一个生日聚会
教学重点:
熟练掌握表日期的词汇
能正确理解和掌握所学的对话内容,并能流利朗读。
教学难点:
学会如何举办一个生日聚会

读导法、听说法、表演法

投影片、录音机、磁带、多媒体电脑
教学过程:
A.Free talk:
T: What does this/that mean?
S: It means …
T: What is this?
S: It’s …(在课件里显示一些图片,蜡烛、蛋糕、贺卡)
T:What do they mean? Can you guess? They are for …(学生猜测生日),引入birthday。

B.Presentation and practise:
1、T:Yes,they are for birthday. Maybe here’s a birthday party. There
is a birthday candle, a birthday cake, a birthday card. They are birthday presents. Every one has own birthday. My birthday is on the 19th of April. I want to know when your birthday is. When’s your birthday? (板书) You can answer “My
birthday is on the … of…” (板书)
invite a student. 他也许只能说出句型,不能说出日期的说法,可以让她说中文,老师帮他翻译,然后学生把她的生日反复的说几遍,用When’s his/her birthday?
His/Her birthday is on the … of…
2、学生操练好以上句型后,带学生进入课文的第一遍听,回答几个关于课文中时间的问题。
T:Today, Ben is visiting Jim. They are also talking about birthday. Let’s listen to the tape. Then answer my question.
1. What date is it today?(       )
A. It’s the 16th of October.
B. It’s the 18th of October.
C. It’s the 6th of August.
2. When’s Ben’s birthday?
A. His birthday is on the 16th of October.
B. His birthday is on the 18th of October.
C. His birthday is on the 6th of August.
3. When’s Jim’s birthday?
A. His birthday is on the 16th of October.
B. His birthday is on the 18th of October.
C. His birthday is on the 6th of August.
通过第一遍听,对课文有整体印象,在选择题中学习date,What date is it today?和课文中出现的三个日期。学生练习。
T: What date is it today?
S: It’s the 25th of September.
T: My birthday’s on the 25th of September.
重复几遍,学习 birthday, My birthday’s on the 25th of September.
指名学生说: My birthday’s on the …
T: When’s your birthday?
S: My birthday’s on …
学习: when, When’s your birthday?学生间练习这个句型。
3、Now we know Ben’s birthday is coming soon. (板书 soon 不久,很快),So
he will have a birthday party. If you are Ben, what would you like as a
birthday present. (板书)
A:What would you like as a birthday present?
B:I’d like a …(让学生先说一些学过的物品)
Maybe Ben would like these presents, but we don’t know. Let’s listen to Ben. 听课文第二遍
Ask: What would Ben like as a birthday present?
Answer:  a yo-yo    a VCD of Japanese cartoons  (板书学习)

C. consolidation
1. 听录音跟读对话,并熟悉意思。
2.  学生分角色朗读,使学生能流利朗读。
3.   完成评价手册第一课时第二项练习,填写相关单词,然后尝试用此题来复述课文。
D.Assignment:
抄写四会单词和词组:present, date, when, as.
熟练流利朗读课文对话。

教学内容:
Learn Unit 2 Ben’s Birthday Part B&C
教学目标:
1、掌握以下单词:January, February, August, September, October, November, December,first, second, third, fourth, sixth, twelfth, twentieth, twenty-first, thirtieth.
2、掌握日期的表达方式。
3、初步掌握句子:When’s your birthday?
                 My birthday’s on …?
4、培养学生的生活情趣。
教学重点:
能掌握月份及序数词
教学难点:
能掌握日期的表达方式
教学准备:
投影片、录音机、磁带、多媒体电脑
教学过程:
A.Free talk

B.Presentation and practise:
1.  介绍序数词的表达规则。
First, second, third缩写分别为(1st, 2nd, 3rd)分别是数字加上每个单词的最后两个字母。
接下来的数字为规则变化分别为基数词后加th,除(fifth, 以ly结尾的,y变ie再加th. 如twentieth, thirtieth. 强调第二十几、三十几只要变化个位上的数字就行了。如,twenty-first, thirty-first.
学生朗读并熟练掌握1~31的序数词表达方式。说明日期的表达是用序数词来表示的。
2.学习月份的表达方式,Junuary出示音标,学习这个单词。
学习表达一月一日,给学生一个公式:the 日期 of 月份。of的意思为属于。
指名答: 一月三日     一月十五日      一月二十二日   , 以此巩固月份和日期的表达。
3.同法学习其它的月份。边学习边巩固日期的表达。
4.出示:九月二十五日,让学生用英语说出表达方式, the twenty fifth of
September.
T: My birthday is on the twenty fifth of September.
强调: on+日期, at+时间。
学习 birthday, 并拼读。
学生小组间练习:My birthday is on …. 然后上讲台来交流。
C.Homework:
1.写出几个日期的英语表达: 一月一日,二月二日,三月三日,四月四日,五月五日,六月六日,七月十二日,八月二十日,九月二十一日,十月十日,十一月十三日,十二月三十日。
2.抄写四会单词:March, April, May, June, July, birthday.

教后感:日期的表达是教学的难点,在以后的教学中要以日常会话的形式不断巩固。






第三课时

1、复习表演A部分对话。
2、学习E部分,掌握下列单词、短语、句型

1. 出现一个月份,指名说,然后齐说.
出现日期如: 一月一日,二月三日,三月十二日 …

When is your birthday? 问几个学生.
T: What would you like as a birthday present? 问几个学生.

看录象老师解说,讲解生词.
让学生说故事, 好的得到礼物.
2. 学生小组间创作故事,然后起来讲, 好的得到礼物..

E.Exercise:

F.Assignment:
抄写并默写本课的句型和单词.
背诵课文对话.

B.Revision:
1.  教师运用多媒体出示日期: What date is it?
通过复习使学生熟练掌握日期的表达方式。

3. 请3-4对学生表演课文对话。
C. Listen and write;
1.   看图复习图上的人物和物品,以为听音练习作好准备。
2.   听录音完成填空。
3.   校对答案。
D. Listen and repeat.
1. 出示图片,引出单词: dear  hear  near  year
2. 让学生整体认读单词,让学生在读的过程中体会字母组合ear在单词中的发音
[¡з].
3. 完成几道辨音题,以巩固所学内容。
E. Assignment.
1. 抄写本单元所学的单词、词组和句型,并能默写。
2. 完成练习册中本单元的练习。
听课文录音,熟读本单元对话。
