要点简析:
1. 当我们想询问某人是谁时,我们常常使用Who’s …?的句式。回答时,应注意性别的不同,正确使用人称代词I, you, he, she, it等。如:
① Who’s the man? 那位男士是谁?
He’s Mr Brown. 他是布朗先生。
② Who are you? 你是谁?
I’m Helen. 我是海伦。
③ Who is it? 是哪一位?(可用来询问敲门的人)
It’s me. 是我。
2. 当我们需要或想确定对方的身份时,我们可以使用Excuse me, are
you…?来表示。如:
① Excuse me, are you Mike? 请问,你是麦克吗?
Yes, I am. / No, I’m not. 是的。/ 不,我不是。
② Hi! Are you a new student? 嗨,你是新学生吗?
Yes, I’m new here. 是的,我是这儿新来的。
3. 告诉别人不要做某件事时,我们可以用Don’t …的句式。例如:
① Don’t read in bed. 不要躺在床上看书。
② Don’t draw in your book. 不要在书上乱涂乱画。
