Unit nine  Shapes
教学内容:B.C and F.
教学重、难点:
1.会说、会读和会拼写单词a star, a circle, a square, a triangle, a rectangle, a diamond
2.掌握句型:What shape is the…?  It’s a….
教学过程:
Step one: Warming-up
1.Enjoy the song: “Twinkle, twinkle, little, little star”
学生边欣赏边学唱,活跃气氛。
2.Free talk:
T: We just enjoyed the song, “Twinkle, twinkle, little, little star”.
  Can you sing this song?
S: Sorry, I can’t.
T: What can you sing?
S1: I can sing…
T: O.K. Please sing it.
T: Good. Give you a star.
T: Who can try again?
S2: I can sing….
T: Good. Give you a star.
Step two: Presentation and practice
1.Boys and girls, a star is a shape. 学习单词 shape,
打出许多形状拼成的图像,揭示课题。出示单词shapes, 同时板书。
2.打出★图片,学习新词a star, 渗透音标教单词。
教师领读,学生个别读,纠正读音。
Chant: Star, star, the star is a star.
3. 打出●图片, 学习新词a circle,
Chant: Circle, circle the clock is a circle.
打出钟的图片,
T: What shape is the football? 引导学生回答
S: It’s a circle.
打出足球和手表的图片,让学生操练
  What shape is the…
  It’s a…
4. 打出▲图片, T: What shape is it?
学习新词, a triangle, 教师领读,学生个别读,纠正读音。
Chant: Triangle, triangle, the ruler is a triangle.
5.打出▆图片,学习单词 a rectangle
Chant: Rectangle, rectangle, the door is a rectangle.
6.打出▇图片,学习单词 a square,
Chant: Square, square, the box is a square.
7.打出◆图片,学习单词a diamond
Chant: Diamond , diamond, the kite is a diamond.
Step three: Consolidation
1.Read the new words after a tape.
2.Play a game: Say and draw
The students look at the teacher’s mouth and read the words out loudly. At the same time, ask two students come to the blackboard. Let them listen and draw the shape.
用这个游戏进一步帮助学生练读,巩固所学单词,同时又锻炼了学生的听力。
3.Say a chant:
Star, star, the star is a star.
Circle, circle the clock is a circle.
Triangle, triangle, the ruler is a triangle
Rectangle, rectangle, the door is a rectangle
Square, square, the box is a square.
Diamond ,diamond, the kite is a diamond.
4.We are a little tired. Let’s have a rest. Sing a song together.

调节气氛,激发学生的学习兴趣。
Step four: 点击ppt,出示C部分的图片,两人一组讨论操练句型
A: What shape is the….
B: It’s a….
Step five: Task
T: What can you make? Try to use circles, squares, rectangles, triangles …1.点击ppt,用图形拼出一个人的图形,让学生学着拼,并在句子中练说所学单词。

2.打出两幅图形,让学生自由练习。
3.Skills: Draw and complete
发给每个学生一张试卷,让学生四人一组,用所学形状画出一幅图形,如汽车,飞机等,并完成书写练习

最后小组长汇报小组的成果,对其他组员提问。
Step six: Homework
1.Read and spell the new words.
2.Draw a picture with some shapes.板书设计:
