教学过程
第一步：E部分
（一）T: Hello, boys and girls. Nice to meet you again. Do you remember Jim’s Christmas day? Now try to answer my questions. 同学们，你们还记得Jim的圣诞节吗？现在请试着回答我的问题。
１．        What did Jim’s family do on Christmas Day?
２．        What holiday comes after Christmas? ( 稍停)Yes, it’s New Year’s Day. 新年这一天，Jim去哪儿了？Let’s look at the picture. (PPT2显示)　
（本步骤设计说明：通过复习旧知，自然过度到新课的学习。）　

（二）１．T: Where were Jim and his mother? ( 稍停)　They sat at the back of the bus. Now read after me,　sit----- sat坐 , at the back of在后面,  They sat at the back of the bus. ( 带读)　 (PPT3,4显示)
２．T:Look, what did Jim see ? ( 稍停)He saw a CD Walkman under the seat in front of him.  请同学们注意这个单词的发音Seat, in front of，　He saw a CD Walkman under the seat in front of him. ( 带读)　 (PPT5,6显示)　
３.Ok, please complete the first paragraph. (PPT7显示)
T: Are you right?  Let’s read and check your answers.

　 (三)　T: Jim拾起这个CD Walkman 就问了他坐在他前面的叔叔，想一想如果是你，你该怎么问呢？( 稍停) Please read after me.　 (PPT8,9显示) Are you right? OK. ( 带读)　
T: CD机并不是叔叔的，他认为可能是旁边的女士的，我们一起来问问她吧。(PPT10,11显示)

四）T: 这个时候让我们看看Jim是怎样做的呢？(PPT12显示)请想一想填空。Let’s check the answers.　 police station警察局 (带读)　其中有两个短语请同学们注意，ask sb. to do sth. 要求某人做某事　take sth. To ….把某物带到某个地点 Please read the last paragraph after me.

（五）T: 同学们，我们一起完成了练习，请你们自己大声地朗读书上59页，这篇Jim的日记吧。（PPT13）

(六) T: 这是Jim的日记，记录了新年那天已经发生过的事，所以文中的时态都是过去式，很多动词都发生了变化。请同学们写出下列单词过去的表达方式。(PPT14显示)

第二部分：F部分　　
T: Let’s play an interesting game, OK? (PPT15显示) Do you understand? 这是一个失物招领的游戏，现在就请你们拿出自己的物品也来玩游戏吧!　请不要忘记要用到本单元学过的句子啊！
第三部分：G部分
1.        T: Ok, so much for the game. 请同学们自己读一读下面的四个单词. (PPT显示)
2.        T: Now read after me.. （带读）请同学们想一想这里的字母组合oo的发音是什么？Right ! 这里字母组合的发音是…(PPT16显示)  (带读)　
3.        T: 这里老师还给你们收集了类似的单词，请你们自己来读一读。(PPT16显示)
4.        T: Now let’s read the sentence. Look, the picture of the football in your book is good. (带读)　同学们，我们现在要进行一场唇枪舌战，比一比谁能在三十秒内读这个句子读得遍数最多？

第四部分：H 部分　
1.        T: Ok, 比赛结束了，谁是胜利者？Now, let’s listen to an English song. 在你们听歌曲的时候，把所缺少的歌词填写出来。(PPT17显示)　
2.        Are you right? Let’s try to sing the song together. (PPT17显示)

结束语：
下课后我希望同学们也能写一篇日记，内容可以是on the farm, in a shop, my birthday等等，特别提醒同学们不要忘记日记的格式，左上角要写上星期几和几号，右上角要写天气情况，并注意文章的时态。OK, I’m sure you will do very well. Try your best. Bye! (PPT18显示)
