Step One:Warm up
1 Greetings and free talk
Nice to meet you/I am glad to see you./How old are you?/Do you have any brothers or sisters?/Does Jack have any brothers or sisters?/How old is he?/Where did Jack and Ben go for a walk?/Does Su Hai have a twin sister?
这是A部分的交际用于与主要知识点，在交谈中复习与梳理A部分内容与知识点。
2尝试歌谣《I wish I was taller》
Step Two:Presentatin and practice
  一 由歌谣导入句型，表格引出并操练本课四会句型：
    1原级的用法
             Age            Height
Yang Ling              12            125cm
David             12            125cm
让学生根据表格所显示的内容造句，以小组竞赛的形式进行：
Yang Ling is as young as David.
David is as tall as Yang Ling.
让学生通过表格很形象的理解原级的用法，小组讨论，操练更多句子。
   2 比较级的用法。
             Age            Height
Ben              15            156cm
     David             12            125cm
①让学生根据表格所显示的内容造句，以小组竞赛的形式进行：
David is younger than Ben.   David is 3 years younger than Ben.
Ben is taller than David.     Ben is 32cms taller than David.
让学生通过表格很形象的理解原级的用法，小组讨论，操练更多句子。
②让学生通过表格的鲜明对比，引导学生“反过来说”
Ben is older than David.     Ben is 3 years older than David.
David is shorter than Ben.    David is 32cms shorter than Ben
小组讨论，操练更多句子。
③ 引出C 部分句型Who’s …than? …is.
还是利用表格的形象：Who’s taller than David?    Ben is.
                     Who’s older than David?    Ben is.
                     Who’s younger than Ben?   David is.
                     Who’s shorter than Ben?    David is.
3引出并操练C 部分句型Whose…is…,…or…?  ….is,I think.
Liu Tao’s school bag           6kg
Mike’s school bag           5.5kg
Whose school bag is heavier, Liu Tao’s or Mike’s?  
Liu Tao’s is,I think.
让学生通过表格很形象的理解原级的用法，小组讨论，操练更多句子。
4 学生自己画表格，以小组为单位操练并汇报。
Step Three:Production
形容词比较级与原级的肯定，否定，一般疑问句以及特殊疑问句以及拓展。
1 I am as strong as Yang Ling.
  I am not as strong as Yang Ling.
  Are you as strong as Yang Ling?  Yes,I am./No,I’m not.
  Who is as strong as Yang Ling?   I am.
让学生仿照一起推导的句子，造Who are….?的句子
2 David’s dog is thinner than yours.
   David’s dog is not thinner than yours.
   Is David’s dog thinner than yours?  Yes,it is./No,it isn’t.
   Whose dog is thinner, David’s or yours?  David’s is.
让学生仿照一起推导的句子，造Whose… are….?的句子
Step Four:Summary
   四会句型以及名词所有格。
Step Five:Homework
1 在作业本上重新写出C部分英文。
2 组内组织复习，准备中测。
   关于比较级的用法，利用学生身边的事物，创设情景，在情景中操练，学生比较感兴趣，也比较容易理解。但是在理解上，还是有一些问题需要表格来直观显示，如：David is as tall as Yang Ling. Ben is 3 years older than David. Whose school bag is heavier, Liu Tao’s or Mike’s?本节课利用三个表格，让学生通过表格很形象的理解原级与比较级的用法，并学生自己画表格，以小组为单位操练并汇报。操练的面广，容量大，达到了很好的效果。
