Pre-task preparation:
1. Free talk
Hello, may I speak to …
How are you? Are you free now?
If the student is not free, elicit to teach the word: busy. Let the student read follow the teacher several times.
Call another student; ask him/her what’s his/her hobby.
I like …,too. I usually go shopping after work. Do you know what means” usually”? show a time table from Sunday to Saturday.

While-task procedure:
1. Yesterday, I told you to preview part A, yes? Now, I want to check your homework. Please look at these questions and try to answer them.;
A, Is Wang Bing free now?
B, what is he doing?
C, what’s his English friend’s name?
D, where does he live? Does he live in London?
E, what subject does he study at school?
F, what does he usually do on Sundays?
2.invite some students try to answer them, if they can’t answer them, keep it. Then teacher read the paragraph for the students and let the students listen carefully, invite students to answer the questions again. Explain what is “e-mail, surf the Internet, London, a small town”.
3.read the paragraph follow the teacher.
Teacher read the paragraph sentence by sentence, let the students follow to read, then teacher and the students read the dialogue together. Then let the students read by themselves, read in roles.
4.invite some students to read in roles. Teacher check the pronunciations.
Post-task activities:
1.let the students close their English book and try to remember what is in the dialogue.
E.g.: His friend’s name is Tom.
2.Teacher write the key words on the blackboard, and let the students look at these words try to retell the dialogue.
2. Give students some times to prepare to retell the dialogue.
3. Invite some students to retell the dialogue in pairs.
Consolidation:
Copy some sentences: What subject does he study at school? He studies English, Maths, Science and Art. What does he usually do on Sundays?’ ‘He usually plays football. Does he play well? Yes, he does. He swims well, too.

Homework:
Listen and read this dialogue at least three times.
Dictate this dialogue.
