        3.        FUNCTION:
Develop the students’ interest of English learning and keep the interests

1. Pre-task Preparation        1. Speech
2. Free talk: What day is it today? What day is it tomorrow? What’s the weather like today/
What are we doing now?
3. Present the title of this unit. Teach the new word ‘plan’        Invite one student to have a speech. And evaluation it.
The teacher talks with the Ss. Using the sentences they have learned, practice their oral English.
Look and learn the new word. (Lead to the next stage.)        每天的演讲是为了提高学生语篇的写作和演讲能力。
复习旧知,很自然地过度到新知上来。

Review some actions, than present the phrase: have school

3.        Review the sentences:
A: What are you going to do..?
B: I’m going to…
Than present the new phrase:
by the way
4.  present the new sentences:
A: Is he/she going to do…?
B: Yes, he/she is./ No, he/she isn’t.
5. Sum up the general future tense. Do some exercise about it.


6. Present the introduction.
Q: Who is David going to call?

7. Present the first period of the dialogue. Q:
What is David going to do?
When are they going to meet?
Where are they going t o meet?
8. Present the second period of the dialogue. Q:
What’s in the school tomorrow afternoon?
Would Gao Shan like to come to the concert?
Who will Gao Shan come with?
Present the new word: concert and will
The phrase: at the concert.
9. Listen and read the dialogue following the CAI.        Use CAI to show the new word and phrase. Then Let Ss use this phrase to make a sentence.
Play a game: mind map. Review the phrases with: go, take, play, see, have. Than present the new phrase: have school

Talk about Ss weekend about Saturday, review the sentences they learned. Then present the new phrase: by the way. And continue to talk about Sunday.

Present the General question about future tense. Then Ask Ss to talk in pairs.

Sum up the general future tense, then do some exercise about it. Check the answers. Then talk about What are they going to do, guide to the dialogue.
Show a picture of David. Ss will listen to the introduction and answer the Q. Talk about the picture.
Show pictures of David and Gao Shan. Ss will listen to the dialogue and answer  the Qs.



Show the pictures of David and Nancy, talk about the pictures and then listen to the dialogue and answer the Qs. Learn the new words and phrases.






Ss will listen to their dialogue and imitate their dialogue.
        在新授过程中,始终遵循着词不离句,句不离篇的原则。首先是复习词组,为学生接下来的说做好准备;然后是用学过的句型谈论学生的周末,让这节课的内容充实。接下来借助学生的周末内容引出新句型,总结一般将来时并做练习巩固。做了这些铺垫后,进入本单元对话的学习,降低了学生学习这么长的对话的难度。 通过几个问题的设置,让学生更好地理解了本段对话。

3. Make a phone call with a friend, talk about your plans for this weekend.
        The Ss read the dialogue in pairs, then judge the exercise. Check the answers.

Ss fill in the blanks and retell the dialogue.

Ss make a phone call with their friend about their weekend. If time is enough, show their dialogue, If not, it will be showed in next lesson.        做一些跟a部分相关的练习,可以有助于学生更好地理解a部分,提高学生的英语综合运用能力。

让学生就周末计划这个话题跟好朋友打电话,为学生创造了一个运用新句型的语言环境,同时通过这个练习也能提高学生的口语水平。
Assignment        1.听录音,跟读录音3遍。
2.用英语跟你的好朋友打个电话,了解他(她)本周末的计划,并仿照例文写一篇小文章: XX and my plans for the weekend.
