Teaching procedure:
Step1 Pre-task Preparation
1.Greetings。
T greets Ss and Ss greet T.
2. Sing songs:
T and Ss sing songs together
3. Free talk about greeting each other and review the structures.
T has a talk with Ss using the structures “Hello, I'm...” “Good morning/ afternoon/evening” “What's this?” “This is …/It's…”
PURPOSE:Warm up and adjust the atmosphere, let Ss come into English world.
4. Play a game: Look at T' mouth and guess the words
T says some words but no sound, and let Ss look at my mouth and guess the words.
PURPOSE:Review the words and the sentences and prepare for the next step.
Step2 Presentation
1. Learn the new sentence: What are these? Understand the sentence’s meaning and read it in different ways.
T shows a carrot to Ss and asks “What's this?” Ss can answer “This is a carrot.” Next, T shows some carrots and asks “what are these?”
T translates the sentence and asks the Ss to read it some times and let Ss can say Chinese meaning.
PURPOSE:Can provide a real situation to understand the means of the words and to arouse the Ss’ interest in learning English.
2. Present the answer: They are….Translate the sentence for Ss and read it in different ways.
Show the picture of carrots, and then ask them “What are these?”
Ss may answer “They are...” T presents the whole answer “They are carrots.”
T translates the sentence for Ss. And let Ss read it.
Ss read the sentences in whole class, group by group, one by one.
PURPOSE:Can develop Ss’ abilities of communication and speaking.
Step3 Practice
Practice the sentences: Ask and answer.
Practice the pattern like this:
T asks and Ss answer.
Ss ask and T answers
Ss ask and Ss answer..
Do more practice using the other fruit pictures and do “Ask and answer” (Can do it like this: T asks and Ss answer, Ss ask and T answers, Ss ask and Ss answer.
PURPOSE:By way of communication, the Ss will understanding the meaning of the structure better and master the knowledge firmly.
Step4 Say a rhyme
1. Read Part A after the tape.
Let Ss open the books and read the dialogue after the tape in different ways.
PURPOSE:Can consolidate the key structure, and also is an extensive activity for Ss.
2. Ask and answer: Practice the sentences using the words that have learnt.
T shows some pictures to Ss, and only let them see part of them, and then T asks “What are these?” Ss think, guess and answer using “They are…”
PURPOSE:Can develop Ss' abilities of thinking and speaking.
Step5 Homework
1. Read part A and B five times.
2. Listen to the tape and imitate reading.

本节课总的效果还是不错的,因为在第一课时我已经初步的接触了句型,并且进行了操练,所以学生在说和理解上掌握得很好。注意的是什么单词后面加s, 什么单词后面加es。 |
