教学目标:
1.熟练掌握公共场所类单词,巩固上节课所学的交通工具类单词。
2.熟练运用句型:Let’s go to… How do we go there? Shall we go…By…? Is this…for…?
教学准备:交通工具类图片、公共场所类图片、写有地名的纸片、录音机、磁带等。
教学过程:
Step 1 Revision
1. Guessing game:What place is it?
(1) There are a lot of books and some computers in the room. We read books there.
(2) There are many doctors and nurses in it. If we’re ill, we’ll go there.
(3) There are many fruits、food、drinks、toys、clothes. We often buy things there.
(4) There are a lot of people waiting for the trains.
(5) People go there and see a play.
(6) There are many planes there. People are waiting for their planes.
2. Sing a song:The wheels on the bus
3. Free talk
How do you come to school?
How does your father/mother go to work?
Let’s go to…
How do we go…?
Shall we go…by…?
Step 2 Presentation
T: I want to go to many beautiful places. I like films. There’s a new film at Focus Cinema. Let’s go and watch it. OK?
S: OK.
T: How do we go there?
S: Shall we go to Focus Cinema by…?
T: Good. But it’s…now. The film begins at… We’re late. Let’s go by taxi.
Teach: taxi
T: Do you want to go to the other nice places? Pick a piece of paper. Choose one to say.
请学生从准备好的盒子里抽取一张小纸片,上面写有各种不同的地名,根据纸上地名邀请同学外出,并商量外出方式。

Pair work.
Say a chant:  Go to school, on foot, on foot.
            Go to the park, by bus, by bus.
            Go to the cinema, by taxi, by taxi.
            Go to Shanghai, by train, by train.
            Go to Beijing, by plane, by plane.
T: Do you know Beijing operas? Do you like it?
  S: Yes, I do. / No.
  T: David and his sister want to see a play. Let’s listen to the tape.
  Q: How do they want to go there at first?
     Is that bus for the theatre?
     How do they go there? Why?
Read after the tape.
Act it out.
Step 3 Consolidation
T: I like spring. It’s warm and nice. The trees are green and the flowers are blooming.
  May Day is coming. We have a long holiday. Now invite your classmates to a farther place, and then talk how to get there.
A: Hello, how are you?
B: Fine, thank you. And you?
A: I’m fine, too.  Let’s go to….
B: All right. How do we go there?
A: Shall we go to….by…?
B: OK. Let’s go to Changzhou Railway Station/ Bus Station/ Airport and have a look.
A: Good idea. Let’s go by bus.
   ( At the station/ airport)
B: Excuse me, is this…for…?
C: Yes, it is. Get on, please.
/ No, it isn’t. Your train/ bus/ plane is over there.
A& B: Thank you very much.
(让C学生举牌站在台前,牌上正面写train、bus、plane,反面写地名)
