牛津小学英语6A Unit6 Holidays第一教时(Part A)
二、教学目标
1、听得懂、会读、会说对话中出现的相关单词和词组:come after, had, went, relatives, delicious, favourite并能正确自如地运用;
2、听得懂、会读、会说对话中出现的5个节日名称:Christmas, New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Halloween, Mid-Autumn Festival;
3、理解知道这5个节日的具体日期,并能说出人们在不同节日的经常性活动;
4、能整体感知对话内容,并进行流利地朗读和演绎;
5、培养学生乐于用英语进行交流的兴趣和能力,并能掌握中西方节日的相关知识以及文化的交融。
三、教学重难点

五、教学过程
Step1 Free talk
What day / date is it today?
When’s your birthday?
What do you usually do on your birthday?
Did you … last year?
(设计意图:Free talk中主要操练的是学生比较感兴趣的生日话题,而且运用的句型也是本课的重要句型:When’s …? What do … usually do …? Did you … last …?这样的操练能让学生提前感知句型,并以“温故知新”的方法让学生更容易接受和掌握本课的新知识。)
Step2 Pre-reading(读前)
1. Present a short passage
T: My birthday is on the 27th of December. It comes after my favourite holiday, what is it?
Ss: Christmas.
T: I’ve written a short passage about Christmas. Let’s learn it together.
My favourite holiday is Christmas. At Christmas, people usually go to parties. I had a big lunch and went to a party last year. Christmas is the most popular(最受欢迎的)holiday in the USA. And now it is popular in China, too.
Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and Dragon Boat Festival are the traditional(传统的)holidays in China. In these holidays, people usually visit relatives and friends and eat lots of delicious food.

(设计意图:从Free talk问学生的生日情况到教师的生日,然后引出短文,过渡自然贴切,便于学生理解接受。而短文的出示也起到了三个重要的作用:1)让学生理解中西方文化及其融合;2)揭示本课主题;3)解决接下来对话内容中将会遇到的一部分新知识。)
Step3 While-reading(读中)
1. Narration
a. Task1: Listen and answer
1) What date is it?
2) Which holiday is coming?
3) How are the teachers and the students?
4) What is Mr Green doing?
b. Combine the answers and Ss read the narration together.
(设计意图:引言部分有四句话,分别以四个问题出示,并让学生以听录音的方法解决问题,体现的“任务型教学”的理念,而最后教师巧妙地把答案联接在一起就成了引言的原话,并让学生集体朗读,这样学生听、说、读三方面的能力都得到了培养和提高。)
2. Dialogue Part1 (P46)
a. Task2: Skim and circle(略读,圈出对话中所提到的节日名称。)
Paste the five holidays on the blackboard.
b. How to learn a long dialogue: We can divide it into several parts.
c. Listen to the tape of Part1 and try to repeat.
d. come after
T: When’s Christmas? Ss: It’s on the 25th of December.
T: When’s New Year’s Day? Ss: It’s on the 1st of January.
T: When’s Spring Festival? Ss: It’s in January or February.
T: So “come after” means? Ss: 在…之后到来
come before在…之前到来
What holiday comes after Christmas?

(设计意图:Part1对话部分的学习主要是老师在指导和牵引,这样能为学生Part2的自学提供很好的参考和依据,在此,教师设计了不同的方式来让学生感知新知识come after / on / at的用法,学生学习起来会感觉比较新鲜易消化;而这部分的巩固是一个“选词填空”的练习,能保证学生把所学的知识都运用起来。)

(设计意图:本课所学对话内容的重点是让学生知道五个节日名称,以及人们在这五个节日的活动。在本环节中,教师设计让学生看着板书复述和写写自己最喜欢的节日,不仅操练了学生说的能力,更培养了学生写的能力;而最后教师设计让学生在众多的节日中选出国际性的节日,既复习了知识,也升华了本课的主题,体现了世界共庆、节日同乐的思想;教师的最后寄语“享受假日,享受生活”则是本课的最终目的及点睛之笔。)
