2. 能熟练运用句型Is/ Are there……?及其回答;How many… are there … ?及其回答。
3. 能掌握日常交际用语和句型 I’m not sure. Let’s go and see. Let’s go and have a look.

Step 1 Greeting.
Step 2 Revision
T: What’s in the classroom? Ss: There is/are …
T: Is there a TV in the classroom? S1: Yes, there is. /No, there isn’t. T: Are there any desks in it? S2: Yes, there are.
Step 3 Presentation
1. T:(T show the picture )Today we’ll learn Unit 1( 课题 ) Look at the picture .Wang Bing, Mike and Helen are in their school. They’re talking about their school. ( 介绍背景语 )
2. T:How do you think of the building ? Ss: It’s nice.
Learn“building”    ( student use  computer)
T: What’s in the building? Guess. S1: There are a lot of classrooms.
T: Are you sure ? ( 引导学生用Yes或No回答。 ) T:You can say: I’m not sure.
Learn:I’m not sure.
3. T: We’re not sure. So let’s go and see. (出示另一张挂图) T: Look. What’s in the building? S1: There’s a table tennis room. S2: There’s a music room. S3: There’re some reading rooms.
4. T: How many reading rooms are there in the building? S4: Two. T: Yes,there are two.
Learn:How many … are there? There are ….
Practise:
T:How many classrooms are there in our school? S: There are …
Work in pairs.
1. T:Are there any reading rooms in our school? S: Yes,there are. T: Is there a table tennis room in the building? S: No.
2. T: Do you want to know how is the building? Now listen to the tape .What are they talking about?
(1) 听录音。
(2) 出示问题听第二遍。 Questions:A: How many classrooms are there ? B: Are there any reading rooms in the building ? C: Are there any computer rooms?
(3) Read after the tape.
(4) Read after the teacher.
(5)Read together.
Step4 Consolidation.
1. Look at the picyure and try to introduce it.
2. Talk about your school .
3. Underline some phrases.
Step 5 Homework.
1. Copy the phrase.
2. Read the dialogues fluently.
六、板书设计:

    Unit 1  The first day at school
Is there a ...in ...? Yes, there is./No, there isn’t.
Are there any ... in ...? Yes, there are./No, there aren’t.
How many ... are there ...? There is (are)... .



教学后记:
1.        存在结构“有”的一般疑问句的用法是本课的重点,需要重点练习。部分学生会把回答写成“Yes,it is./No,it isn’t.”
2.        some 和any的用法是重点,可以从上学期的something,anything入手,any是some的否定式。
