A.Free talk:
1. What day is it today?
What date is it today?
2. What do you like?
What would you like ?
3. Would you like a/some ...?
B.Presentation and practice:
1. 复习所学月份类单词和序数词。
  a. Listen and read.
  b. Look and read.
  c. Ask and answer.   
2.介绍句型:When’s your birthday?
  a. T: My birthday is on the twelfth of May.
      When’s your birthday?
  b. 学习:when, When’s your birthday?
  c. Ask and answer.
3. 介绍句型:What would  you like as a birthday present?
  a. T: Look! What’s this?
    S: It’s a yo-yo.
    T: Yes. It’s very nice. It’s my birthday present. Look at this VCD of Japanese cartoons. It’s my birthday present, too.
  b. 学习: present.
   (出示几样礼物)This is my birthday present.逐样展示。
  c. T: What would  you like as a birthday present?
   学习: as, what would you like as a birthday present?
  d. 同桌练习。         
4.T: Would you like a VCD of Japanese cartoons?
   S: Yes, please.
   T: Would you like to watch it?
   S: Yes, I'd like/love to.
C. Listen, read and say:
1. 听录音理解对话内容,并回答问题:
  When’s Ben’s birthday?
  When’s Jim’s birthday?
  What would Ben like as a birthday present?
  What would Jim like as a birthday present?
2. 听录音跟读对话,并熟悉意思。
3. 同桌练习。
4. 学生分角色朗读。       
作业设计        1. 听录音,熟练朗读课文对话。
2. 询问家人及朋友的生日及愿望。
