二、教学目标:
1 学习B部分,学生会读和拼写spring, summer, autumn, winter。
2掌握三会单词warm, cool
3 掌握三会句型Which season do you like best? I like...Why? Because it's ... I can...
三、教学重点:
1学习B部分,套用旧句型,以旧带新。
2掌握四会单词。
3掌握三会句型Which season do you like best? I like...Why? Because it's ... I can...
四、教学难点 灵活运用所学句型进行交际。
五、教学对象分析:
本节课学习的是与气候与季节相关的名词及形容词,容量和难度都比较大,六年级的学生虽然英语有一定基础,但是不容易掌握这些词, 教师要利用多种形式激发学生的兴趣,所以我在这节课中最大限度的采用了学生容易接受的卡通画, 让学生能够积极参与语言活动。
六、课前准备:
1 准备录音机和第五单元的磁带。
2 课前写好本课的课题6B. Unit 5 B部分Look, read and learn.
3 一些季节和天气的图片。
七、教学过程
A. Greeting and Free talk:
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
What's the weather like today?
What was the weather like yesterday?
(以自由的交谈复习有关天气的内容,创设愉快的英语学习氛围。)
Today we’re going to learn Unit5 《The seasons》.
齐读标题,教授“season”
(单词的读音是重点)
T:(Do you know) What date is it today?
What day is it today?
B Teach spring, summer, autumn, winter.
T:How many months are there in a year? S: There are twelve.
T: How many days are there in a year? S: There are 365.
T: How many seasons are there in a year?
There are four.
T: What are they?
They are spring, summer, autumn, and winter.(将单词卡片贴在黑板上)
In a year, the first season is spring. (领读、拼读spring)
(遮住sp两个字母,让学生观察到spring中含有ring这个单词,突出强调/p/遇到s发/b/这个音。)
T: Do you like spring?
S: Yes, I do.
T: I like spring, too. How do you feel in spring? Do you feel cold in spring?
S: No, I don’t.
T: Because spring is warm.(领读、拼读warm)
T: Can you read this chant?
“Spring, spring, spring, it's warm, warm, warm.”
(将spring和warm用诗歌的形式很好的串联起来,为下面的教学做了很好的铺垫。)
T:I like spring best. Because spring is warm. The trees turn green. There are many flowers outside. How beautiful! We can do many things in spring. What do you usually do in spring? I usually go on an outing in spring.
I also usually fly a kite.
(综合运用本课所学,描述自己最喜欢的季节,培养学生热爱生活、热爱大自然的思想感情。同时为下面的教学做好铺垫。)
同法教授其他三个季节。
每学完一个季节操练一遍chant。

C:Practice
1 T:I like spring best. Because it’s warm. I can go on an outing.(领读句子,把go on an outing单词卡片贴在黑板上)
T: What about you? Which season do you like best?(教which, best,领读句子)

提问三至四名学生。
T:We learned much about weather and seasons.
Please ask your good friends or the teachers.
Which season does he/she like best?
Why?
You can use these sentences. Then write down what he/she thinks about seasons. (学生做自由调查,并将调查内容填入表格)
表格设计如下:
