教学目标:
1、知识目标:
(1) 能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词:birthday、date 、when 、as、 present.
(2) 能听懂、会说和会读单词:wait、VCD、Aladdin、August、October.
(3) 能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型:when’s your birthday? My birthday’s on ……what would you like as a birthday present? I’d like …….
(4) 能听懂、会说和会读日常交际用语:What date is it today? It’s the 16th of October. My birthday’s coming. Would you like to my birthday party? Would you like a VCD of Japanese cartoons, too? Let’s wait and see.
2、技能目标:能正确地理解、掌握对话内容,并能朗读、初步表演对话。
3、情感目标: 鼓励同学间互相关爱,了解同学们的生日和喜好,并给予祝福。
教学重点:
1、能够正确掌握本课交际用语并能够比较流畅地对话。
2、使学生能够在掌握对话的基础上,运用本课的语言进行灵活的运用。
教学难点:
1、掌握本课重要句型后能较熟练地运用。
2、在教师提示下复述课文。
教学准备:
1、录音机和本课A部分的磁带。
2、准备A部分的金太阳。

1、 词汇、句型
(1) What date is it today?训练学生正确朗读并了解单词date(日期)并在此回答:It’s the …of September。
教师表示出惊叹The …of September? Oh,my birthday is coming.引出单词birthday。
(2)When ’s my birthday?Guess?由于学生对于这一句型还不是非常了解,所以在这儿我给出两个选择,减低学生表达的难度。
T: A.It’s on the seventeenth of September. B. It’s on the eighteenth of September.
(板书句型When ’s my /your birthday? It’s on the …)
(3) T: Yes, my birthday is on the eighteenth of September.I’ll have a birthday party. Would you like to come to my birthday party?引导学生回答:Sure./OK/All right.
(板书句型Would you like to come to my birthday party? Sure./OK/All right.)
(4) T: I’ll have a birthday party.I’d like some birthday presents.I’d like some stamps,some ballons,a yo-yo and a VCD of Japanese cartoons.

(板书句型What would you like as a birthday present? I’d like …)通过上面的学习,学生能比较熟练地回答.

学生自编小歌谣进行新句型的操练。(学生用《两只老虎》的旋律操练句型)

2. 对话
(1)整体感知。学生看课文动画,初步感知课文。
(2)学生看课文动画后,要求学生轻读课文引言及第一段,回答问题:

T: Where are Jim and Ben?
T: What are they talking about?
要求学生根据问题内容对Jim作简要介绍。
(3)学生听第一段对话录音,回答问题:
T: What date is it today?
T: When’s Ben’s birthday?
听对话录音,跟读。
(4)学生听第二段对话录音,完成对话后面的练习:Tick the correct answer。

(5)学生轻读短文,完成阅读填空:
